Karaoke fever! #15
Made on a page of the 1793 book, Complettes Oeuvres De J. J. Rousseau, 3 5/8 x 5 7/8"
One of a series of 28 illustrations I did for this book project for Bill Roberts' Bottle of Smoke Press.
Rush was one of those bands I could never take seriously. Partly because they took themselves seriously enough for all of us, and partly because the singer shrieks like a shelter cat that knows its time is up. Other than that, I'm sure they rocked. You know, in a very intelligent way. I saw them play in the 70s and I don't remember one second of it. Wait, that's not true. I got to make out with a girl during that concert, I remember that. Yeah. You know what? Rush was pretty awesome!
