Karaoke fever! #13
Made on a page of the 1793 book, Complettes Oeuvres De J. J. Rousseau, 3 5/8 x 5 7/8"
One of a series of 28 illustrations I did for this book project for Bill Roberts' Bottle of Smoke Press.
I saw Led Zeppelin a couple of times and they really didn't put much effort into Stairway to heaven. I can't blame them, we were all sick of the song by 1973, but they signed a contract with the devil that required them to play it for the remainder of their natural lives. The contract with the devil wasn't even for the song, it was for good looking hair, but somehow the devil snuck the song into the deal. Let that be a lesson to you youngsters out there considering signing with the devil.
