Karaoke fever! #10
Made on a page of the 1793 book, Complettes Oeuvres De J. J. Rousseau, 3 5/8 x 5 7/8"
One of a series of 28 illustrations I did for this book project for Bill Roberts' Bottle of Smoke Press.
I remember buying this album by Japan called Adolescent sex because on the cover they looked like maybe they could rock. They didn't rock so much as kind of disco and flitter and flounce about, but it was still a great cover. They sang Don't Rain on My Parade like they were really bored with their parade, and they probably wouldn't care if you rained all over it. I think that's called irony. Or ennui - I get those two mixed up. They were ahead of their time where irony/ennui were concerned, that Japan.
